The source for the diagrams on this page is the factbook.json project on GitHub.

The factbook.json project crawled and parsed the data of the Word Factbook.

This project furthermore uses chi-country-facts which provides a convenient GraphQL interface to the World Factbook data.

Thanks to the great technology of d3.js for the treemap diagrams.
